- Portable phone charger (keep fully charged)

- Adhesive bandages, gauze, medical tape

- Pain relievers (ibuprofen, paracetamol)
- Prescribed medications (7-day supply)
- Allergy medications if needed
Documents and Money
- Copies of ID, insurance, and medical information in a waterproof bag
- Cash in small denominations (ATMs and card machines may be down)
- Emergency contact list (written, not just in your phone)
Clothing and Shelter
- Change of clothes appropriate for the season
- Rain poncho
- Emergency blanket (space blanket)
- Sturdy shoes
Tools
- Multi-tool or Swiss army knife
- Duct tape
- Bin bags (shelter, waterproofing, waste)
- Matches or lighter in a waterproof container

- In a grab-and-go bag near your front door
- A smaller version in your car
